Steele Subaru is seeking a General Manager to lead our dealership and champion the Subaru Uncommon Experience. As General Manager, you will set clear expectations, develop and support department leaders, and drive consistent results across the dealership. You will champion Subaru's values of safety, reliability, and community connection while balancing performance with accountability. This role suits a collaborative leader who values the strength of a stable dealer group and is motivated to make a lasting, positive impact on the business, the team, and the customers who trust us to support both their daily commutes and weekend adventures.
Compensation
Expected earnings of $150,000 – $200,000+ Annually, comprised of a competitive base salary and performance-based bonus, along with a demo vehicle and comprehensive benefits.
The Role
As General Manager of Steele Subaru, you will be responsible for the overall performance, culture, and strategic direction of the dealership. Your leadership will directly influence results across all departments, including:
- Customer Experience: Ensure every interaction reflects Subaru's and Steele Auto Groups standards.
- Employee Experience: Lead, coach, and support department leaders, building accountable, high-performing teams
- Dealership Leadership: Alignment with Subaru's brand standards and Steele Auto Group expectations.
- Financial & Operational Performance: Manage budgets while driving profitability and long-term stability.
- Sales & Marketing: Strengthen market share and brand presence.
- Market Growth: Identify growth opportunities and implement strategies.
- Strategic Execution: Implement Steele Auto Group policies, procedures, and initiatives.
- People & Culture: Partner with HR.

- Minimum 5 years of dealership leadership experience
- Confident decision-making, sound judgment, and strategic thinking
