Global Markets Advisory and Contract Execution Team is a client facing team responsible for advisory services across trading desks and clients through capital markets deal origination including execution of regulatory capital markets agreements globally. This team maximizes revenue generation, ensures alignment with TD's risk appetite, and delivers client-centric experience. This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing team of high performers.

Reporting to Managing Director and Head of Global Markets Advisory and Contract Execution Team, the incumbent will have the following accountabilities (but not limited to):

Responsibilities:

  • Support Global Markets Advisory and Contract Execution activities across North America, Europe, and Asia.
  • Manage trading and regulatory agreement closings, including coordinating legal agreement execution, record keeping executed documents updating systems accordingly.
  • Coordinate outstanding supplementary legal documents from clients as required
  • Follow up with internal partners as required to finalize agreements
  • Maintain and update regulatory and trading documentation databases, ensuring data accuracy and availability for reporting for senior executives.
  • Produce regular and ad hoc reporting on time?to?market metrics, pipeline status, and workflow efficiency to support business.
  • Manage data across team to ensure efficiency and accuracy of database
  • Assist with project management activities, including delivery status tracking, milestone updates, meeting preparation, and coordination across internal stakeholders.
  • Track documentation workflows and escalate issues when necessary to ensure on time completion and follow up across team when necessary
  • Utilize technology platforms and internal systems to monitor workloads, track documentation progress, and support business process enhancements.
  • Perform other administrative, analytical, or coordination tasks to support team objectives and evolving business needs.
  • Participate in a range of Global Markets Advisory and Contract Execution initiatives related to the legal and regulatory aspects of derivatives products.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • University degree
  • 2 years in a capital markets or legal environment
  • Meeting tight deadlines and managing priorities daily.
  • Work with high volumes of data processing and analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail is essential.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while understanding when to involve other team members as needed and to work effectively in a team environment.
  • High degree of integrity and strong work ethic. Timely follow through on commitments. Promote best practices within department and execute assigned duties and enhance control over procedures.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines.
