Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to manage IMP Aerostructures demanding Programs departments. This customer-focused role requires a high degree of communication and negotiation skills with both the customer and the internal organization.

What You Will Do:
  • Perform detailed analysis of specific programs performance to the expected contractual performance.
  • Review all customer contracts and provide recommendations to senior leadership on the impact of specific contract language and requirements.
  • Work with the customers procurement team, identifying opportunities and generate new sales with the active customer base.
  • Lead and develop project plans with other departments to prioritize the transition of new work into the plant.
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the Customer Service Representatives, liaising with customers on order status.
  • Act as the lead with program review meetings when they are hosted at the customer's premises.
  • Liaise with the production organization when delivery expectations are not met.
  • Ensure on-time delivery of all contracts, working with all other functions to resolve issues that arise.
  • Working closely with Finance personnel, review the contract performance, ensuring that action is being taken to correct and improve program results.
  • Chair internal and external Program Review Meetings, interfacing with customers
  • Assist in development of divisions annual Strategic Plan in collaboration with department heads and senior executive staff.
  • Manage the efforts of the cross functional quote team, ensuring that quotes and proposals are submitted are accurate and delivered on time.
  • Perform detailed reviews and provide recommendations on the inventories for semi and finished goods held to meet customer performance.
What You Will Bring:
  • University degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a program management role.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is considered an asset.
  • Experience in the Aerospace and / or Manufacturing Industries preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate results.
  • Must possess advanced computer skills including MS Office and Microsoft Project.
  • Requires a high degree of communication and negotiation skills with both the external customer and the internal organization.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Must be eligible to meet requirements for Canadian controlled goods program (CGP), U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Canadian Government security clearances.
