Yard Manager

Job Title: Assistant Yard Manager - Class 1/AZ License

Shift: Afternoons / Overnight (flexibility required)

Salary: $65,000 annually (paid weekly)

Location: Mont-Royal, QC

We are currently seeking a highly organized, safety-driven Bilingual Assistant Yard Manager with a Class 1 license to support and oversee daily operations at our logistics yard. This role plays a key part in ensuring the efficient, timely, and safe movement of trailers and equipment. The successful candidate will lead shunt drivers, coordinate yard activities, and collaborate closely with operations and dispatch teams to maintain smooth logistics flow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise shunt drivers to ensure safe and efficient yard operations.
• Coordinate the movement of trailers and equipment within the yard.
• Collaborate with operations and dispatch teams to maintain logistics flow.
• Monitor and enforce safety protocols and procedures.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation of yard activities.
• Assist in resolving operational issues and challenges as they arise.

Qualifications:

• Class 1/AZ license with a clean driving record.
• Bilingual (English and French) with strong communication skills.
• Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or yard management.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including afternoons and overnight.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Commitment to safety and attention to detail.
