Your main responsibilities

  • Assisting Senior and Intermediate Engineering staff in the implementation of geotechnical investigations for pavement and geotechnical projects;
  • Generating deliverable documentation including technical reports and letters, summaries, data sheets, graphs, proposals and qualification packages;
  • Assisting in coordinating fieldwork operations (planning, permits, utility clearances, etc.)
  • Conducting field reviews, including field notes, sketches, photos, etc.;
  • Ensuring technical quality of studies and project delivery;
  • Interacting with clients, regulators and subcontractors regularly including presenting and discussing outcomes with clients and project teams;
  • Applying and promoting Englobe's health and safety rules.

What makes you unique

  • Engineering Degree or Diploma in Civil or Geotechnical field or a related discipline;
  • Proficient with standard software and applications (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, etc.);
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and ability to carry out assignments with minimal supervision;
  • Flexible to travel to various locations;
  • Valid provincial driver's license required.

The salary range for this position is $47,934 to $62,913 CAD base per annum, based on the responsibilities of the role, internal equity, and current market benchmarks. The final offer will be determined based on a combination of factors, including the candidate's skills, experience and qualifications, their positioning within our internal compensation structure, and relevant geographic cost-of-living considerations, where applicable. This range represents a realistic and good-faith estimate of the compensation we expect to offer for this role.
