Lounsbury Furniture in Moncton is currently seeking a Selling Sales Lead to join our sales team.
The Selling Sales Lead supports the leadership team by providing guidance, coaching, and day-to-day assistance to our Furniture Sales Professionals. This role is responsible for helping to execute key daily functions, fostering a positive and productive sales environment, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will meet mutually established individual sales goals while also contributing to overall store performance and profitability, all while demonstrating ethical conduct and modeling the company's core values.

- Meet or exceed established goals for sales volume, margin, PPP sales, closing ratio, and finance
- Provide Sales Professionals with approvals on discounted pricing for customers and process MTO's
- Assist the leadership team in Managing Sales Professionals, including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, work allocation, and conflict resolution
- Assist the leadership team with Training and coaching Sales Professionals on product, upcoming promotions, financing options, selling skills, and administration
- Ensure all visitors to the store receive exceptional customer service in greeting, qualifying, selection, payment, delivery coordination, and post-delivery issue resolution.
- Assist the leadership team in motivating the sales team to meet or exceed expectations
- Continually work to improve personal sales and the overall customer service experience
- Gain a solid understanding of the competitive environment: product, PPP's, financing, delivery, etc
- Assist the leadership group in ensuring the sales team complies with the company policies, procedures, and ethical standards
- Maintain consistent dialogue with store leadership and the buyer regarding inventory requirements, tag orders, customer trends, and customer issues
- Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude at all times
- Demonstrates the company's Core and Leadership competencies
- Key Holder
- Post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- 1 - 3 years of proven sales experience in a high customer service-oriented industry
- Previous supervisory experience in a team environment is an asset
- Demonstrated working knowledge of MS Office products and ability to learn in-house computer programs
- Excellent customer service, coaching, and mentoring skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Must be able to work retail hours, including days, evenings, and weekends
- Must be able to stand for an extended period of time
