The Mactaquac Generating Station began generating electricity in 1968. Since the 1980s, concrete portions of the hydro station have been affected by a chemical reaction called alkali-aggregate reaction. As part of the Mactaquac Life Achievement Project, the Senior Project Estimator (Senior Cost Estimator) this role is responsible for the timely and accurate preparation and issuance of cost estimates and all supporting documentation.
