What is the opportunity?
The Savings and Investments (S&I) Marketing team is seeking an innovative, bold thinking, results-driven Marketing Manger to support the development and execution of Engagement & Retention initiatives to drive toward Objectives and Key Results of the Personal Savings & Investments business.
This role is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven marketer who is passionate about leveraging data and consumer insights in impactful ways to drive measurable business outcomes. You will lead end-to-end marketing across a broad roster of targeted and owned channels (i.e.: emails, banners, mobile nudges, etc.), and uncover net-new opportunities to propel Client Onboarding & Retention. You will lead marketing efforts to accelerate Branch Investments momentum, leveraging the strong advisor network that underpins RBC's winning 'advice' value proposition.
Working closely with the Director, Marketing, you will be responsible for developing best-in-class targeted marketing campaigns aligned with client journey, and for ongoing campaign performance reporting and optimization recommendations. Additionally, you will oversee development and execution of key regulatory campaigns.

What will you do?
- Collaborate with Line of Business and Cross-functional partners, to deliver robust annual plans, and go-to-market strategies, that drive S&I Engagement, Onboarding & Retention to achieve business OKRs.
- Fuel integration across cross-functional partners, SMEs, and stakeholders, collectively developing and executing upon key business priorities.
- Collaborate in cross functional Next Best Action pods using agile methodologies to rapidly develop, test, and optimize client-centric campaign initiatives.
- Develop and present briefs, recommendations, and tactical plans, and lead best-in-class campaign execution across owned digital and physical channels.
- Seek out new retention opportunities through proactive integration with LOB and Segment teams.
- Manage marketing budget efficiently, focusing on transparency, efficiency, and flexibility to make the most of market opportunities.
- Build a strong working relationship with an extensive network of internal partners and leverage your ability to impact and influence partnerships across the Bank.
- Monitor and report on marketing results and optimize campaigns to maximize business results.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- 5+ years of marketing experience, with strong degree of expertise in CRM and targeted strategies, digital, and sales enablement.
- Experience planning, executing, and reporting on, marketing solutions that deliver ROI-centric results; ability to map out test and learn strategies to optimize targeted marketing campaigns.
- Proven project management and organizational skills. Ability to multi-task, as well as confidently and effectively lead a project team through timelines, prioritization, budget management and collaboration.
- Ability to influence peers and partners through collaborative, transparent socialization, to secure alignment on our vision and recommendations.
- Ability to think strategically and execute with excellence; must be an enthusiastic, well-organized self-starter, able to use initiative and adapt to change within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to lead multi-stakeholder groups to develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns.
Nice-to-have
- University post-graduate degree/MBA.
- Experience in the Savings and/or Investments space.
