This role sits at the core of our Finance organization, ensuring the systems, data, and processes that support financial reporting, planning, and controls operate effectively. As the Finance Business Analyst, you will be a trusted partner to Finance teams-supporting finance platforms, safeguarding system access, and driving continuous improvement across accounting and financial processes.

You will bring a strong understanding of how Finance works day?to?day, combined with hands?on experience supporting finance systems and data. This role offers meaningful exposure to finance system modernization, process redesign, and initiatives that directly impact the quality, accuracy, and efficiency of financial operations.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Provide front?line systems and data support to Accounting, FP&A, and other Finance teams
  • Maintain and govern security access and controls for finance and financial reporting applications
  • Support finance users with data extraction, reconciliation, analysis, and reporting needs
  • Act as a finance systems expert, helping translate accounting and reporting requirements into system configurations and process improvements
  • Participate in and support finance system initiatives, including enhancements, upgrades, and transitions to new platforms
  • Work closely with Finance leaders and SMEs to understand end?to?end accounting and finance processes and identify opportunities for efficiency and control improvements
  • Support critical finance cycles (budgeting, forecasting, reporting) through system setup, data validation, and issue resolution
  • Collaborate with IT and external vendors to resolve system issues and implement sustainable finance solutions

What You Bring

  • 5-8 years of experience supporting finance or accounting systems in an enterprise environment
  • Strong background in finance systems support, business analysis, data management, or process improvement
  • Education in Finance, Accounting, Business, Commerce, Computer Science or a related field
  • Lean / Six Sigma (LSS) certification with practical application in finance or operational improvement considered an asset
  • Solid understanding of core accounting concepts, including debits, credits, and financial reporting processes
  • Hands?on experience working with finance data and reporting tools, including PL?SQL for data analysis and validation
  • Proven ability to partner with Finance teams, assess processes, and deliver practical system or workflow improvements

Pay Range

$61,500 - $80,000
