We are currently seeking and have an immediate opening for a qualified and motivated individual to fill the position of Account Manager based out of Saint John, NB.
Acting as a trusted advisor to medium to large-sized customers, you will support established clients by understanding their operations, challenges, and technical requirements. The successful candidate will build strong customer relationships, coordinate internal and external teams, and deliver tailored solutions across a broad product offering.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key industrial customers by understanding their needs and providing the right solutions.
- Act as the main point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring a consistent and positive customer experience.
- Work directly with customers to review specifications, drawings, and applications to recommend appropriate products.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure customer and project needs are met.
- Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers to obtain accurate technical and pricing information.
- Manage project documentation, submittals, and customer records throughout the sales process.
- Track pricing, account performance, and key metrics to support effective decision-making.
- Participate in training, account reviews, and sales meetings as required.
- Other tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2+ years of account management experience in industrial, mechanical, technical environment
- Post-secondary education is considered an asset
- Excellent ability to interpret contract terms and ensure services are delivered in accordance with agreements.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to track performance metrics, KPIs, and client satisfaction.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Self-motivated and the ability to work independently
- Keen to foster positive, collaborative, and productive team relationships
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with strong overall computer literacy
