Port Facilities Maintenance Student

Port Saint John is part of the critical transportation infrastructure of Canada and a cornerstone of the New Brunswick economy. Port Saint John is Atlantic Canada's largest port by volume and has a diverse cargo base, handling 28 million metric tonnes of cargo annually, including dry and liquid bulks, break bulk, containers, and cruise.

Port Saint John is seeking energetic, proactive, and self-driven students to join our Port Facilities team for the summer from May 4th to August 28th. The Port Facilities Maintenance Students will play an integral role in providing support to the operations and maintenance of Port facilities and infrastructure.

• Some related experience performing general labour.
• Excellent collaboration, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to take initiative to complete tasks.
• Basic understanding of safe work practices.
• Transport Canada R2 security clearance or eligible to receive.
• Ability to work independently and in a team with minimal direction and capable of prioritizing work as required.
