Job Title: Structural Designer

Reports To: Operation Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Structural Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will support the design and manufacturing of pre-engineered structural roof, wall, and floor systems for commercial and residential construction projects. This role focuses on efficiency, sustainability, and compliance with applicable codes and industry standards, while working closely with engineers, architects, and construction teams to optimize overall building performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design prefabricated panels using SEMA software and create technical drawings ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Determine framing design specifications based on Structural, Architectural, Mechanical drawings.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to develop design solutions.
  • Ensuring compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards for multi-family structures & residential projects.
  • Collaborate with production team to optimize panel design.
  • Ensuring shop drawings, panel production designs meet schedule.
  • Assisting in project management and cost estimation for new projects.
  • Maintained and updated drawings and documentation to align with customer revisions and changes.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • CET designation or Engineering degree is preferred.
  • Knowledge of building codes, construction materials, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency with design software.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
