Hours: 70 (8 hours, Shift Work; Days, Evenings, Nights, On-Call, Standby, Weekends)

Salary: LX27 (CAD32.16 - CAD40.20 per hour)

The following Incentives may be applicable and can be combined:

  1. Signing bonus up to $10,000 (up to $14,000 if facility is located off the TCH ? Rural Sites)
  1. Health Professional Bursary (student) up to $10,000

QUALIFICATIONS: Successful completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology diploma program or a Medical Laboratory Science degree program is required. Certification with the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS) as a General MLT or Subject MLT (in the applicable discipline) is also required. Proof of current registration with the Newfoundland and Labrador Council of Health Professionals is required.

*Effective May 1, 2025, all Medical Radiation Technologists and X - Ray Health Professionals will require registration with the Newfoundland and Labrador Council of Health Professionals (NLCHP) in the appropriate discipline(s) in order to practice in Newfoundland and Labrador. The successful applicant is required to achieve registration by May 1, 2025.
