Definition of work:
Reporting to the Senior Director of Primary Health Care and Community Services/Rural Health, this Manager is responsible for ensuring the delivery of a seamless continuum of health services to residents of the Exploits Health Service area. The role encompasses oversight of operational and administrative functions across all program areas, including primary health care, emergency services, long-term care, community services, and related programs. The Manager will work collaboratively with other site operations managers, regional program leaders, physicians, local networks, and community organizations to promote integrated, person- and family-centered care. This position requires leadership in fostering quality improvement, safety, and effective partnerships to support the ongoing development and sustainability of health services throughout the region. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and motivated leader, bringing creativity and innovation to support the ongoing operation and advancement of health services in the Exploits Health Service area. The role encompasses oversight of operational and administrative functions across all program areas, including primary health care, emergency services, long term care, community services and related programs.
Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree
- Five years? progressive management experience
- Relevant and current experience working in a health framework, leading people and processes as well as leading effective strategic change management initiatives.
- Proven experience in partnership development, program planning and evaluation, project management and leading quality/change initiatives.

- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
- A degree in a health related discipline
