HRM Director of Hockey Operations

DIRECTOR OF HOCKEY OPERATIONS - HALIFAX AREA

The Atlantic Hockey Group (AHG) is seeking an experienced and motivated hockey professional to serve as Director of Hockey Operations for the Halifax region. This leadership role is responsible for planning, managing, and growing a wide range of youth and adult hockey programs throughout the HRM. The successful candidate will be highly organized, development-focused, and deeply connected within the Nova Scotia hockey community, with the ability to lead both on-ice programming and off-ice operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for AHG hockey programs in the Halifax region
• Plan, organize, and deliver high-quality on-ice training sessions
• Coordinate events including tournaments, showcases, and seasonal programming
• Work closely with AHG staff, coaches, and coordinators to ensure consistent program standards
• Manage scheduling, logistics, and day-to-day operations with strong attention to detail
• Build and maintain strong relationships within the Nova Scotia hockey community
• Review financial information and adjust operational budgets to support program profitability
• Represent AHG professionally within the local hockey landscape
