Service New Brunswick is seeking qualified candidates to fill a current opportunity within the Health Services division under the Supply Chain Branch as a Manager of Policy and Data Integrity.

Reporting to the Director of Procurement, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead a dynamic, high-performing team of data specialists, purchasing agent, and procurement assistants. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining the integrity of supply chain while fostering collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.

As a Manager of Policy and Data Integrity, you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties and responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assign and oversee contract data entry in the Regional Health Authorities (Horizon and Vitalité) and SNB systems;
  • Oversee and support daily procurement operations to ensure efficient processing of purchase orders and invoice discrepancy resolutions;
  • Oversee and support the item dictionary (new items and updates) in the Regional Health Authorities (Horizon and Vitalité) and SNB systems;
  • Recruit, mentor, train, and manage staff, providing ongoing performance evaluations;
  • Lead the development, design, standardization, and implementation of provincial supply chain policies and procedures;
  • Oversee the creation, standardization, and delivery of training materials and programs for employees and clients;
  • Identify and facilitate training opportunities to strengthen team capabilities, including onboarding new employees;
  • Foster strong, collaborative relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to support seamless procurement operations;
  • Support Procurement leadership in optimizing operational and transactional efficiencies;
  • Identifies issues and collaborates with Procurement leadership to develop and implement solutions that drive continuous process improvements;
  • Analyze key performance indicators to evaluate and enhance the team's effectiveness;
  • Prepare or oversee the preparation of reports for Procurement leadership;

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must possess a University Degree or an equivalent in Business Administration and a minimum of two (2) of related experience in procurement and management. Subject to the response to this competition, an equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
  • In-Depth knowledge and practical work experience in the use of Microsoft Office Suite software (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
  • Written and spoken competence in English and French is required. Please state your language capability.

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS: Preference may be given to candidates who demonstrate they have training or experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Facilitation, negotiation, conflict management and problem-solving experience;
  • Procurement or Supply Chain certification;
  • Understanding of health industry and marketplace;
  • Knowledge of Meditech system;

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: The following operational requirement(s) is also required:

  • This position may require some travelling within the province therefore candidates must possess a valid driver's license;
  • Candidates will be required to undergo Criminal History Clearance prior to appointment;
