The role is part of Market and Counterparty Credit Risk within GFT, focusing on rapid prototyping and building innovative AI solutions in risk management business area. Selected candidate will play a key role in shaping MCCR's next-generation Agentic platform.
What Will You Do?
Architect and implement scalable, high-impact systems end-to-end, setting technical direction through hands-on leadership and code contributions
Lead cross-functional problem-solving for complex, ambiguous challenges—independently designing approaches, resolving roadblocks, and delivering measurable business outcomes
Elevate team capabilities through code reviews, pairing sessions, and technical mentorship while fostering a culture of psychological safety and continuous improvement.
Pioneer innovative solutions by identifying emerging technologies, prototyping proof-of-concepts, and championing engineering best practices across the organization.
What Do You Need to Succeed?
Must-Have Skills:
Advanced Programming Expertise: Proficiency in languages such as Python/Java, with a strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices.
Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to tackle complex, ambiguous problems independently, using analytical thinking and creative approaches to drive innovative solutions.
Cloud Architecture Experience: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, AWS or OCP) and the ability to design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud-based solutions.
Data Engineering and AI/ML Knowledge: Deep understanding of data engineering concepts, including data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing, along with experience in developing and deploying AI/ML models
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related technical field
5+ years of experience in data engineering/data science related roles.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Hands-on experience with Cloud data lakes (Snowflake), AWS Cloud Ecosystem, Agentic AI Architecture
Hands-on experience with LLMOps(Monitoring/Observability) tools.
