The Digital Marketing Specialist will focus on creating and executing digital content that builds awareness, engagement, and leads across our key audiences.
You will:
- Create social media content for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
- Tailor content by platform based on research into current best practices and trends
- Plan and schedule monthly social media content
- Write SEO-driven blog posts and build campaigns around them
- Develop nurture campaigns for closed-lost leads to move them back into the opportunity funnel
This role is ideal for someone who loves content, understands social media culture, and wants hands-on B2B marketing experience in healthcare and public safety.
Social Media Content & Planning
You'll own the day-to-day social media planning and content creation that keeps Ring Rescue visible, relevant, and engaging across all platforms.
- Own day-to-day content for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
- Research and apply platform-specific best practices (post types, themes, caption length, hashtags, timing, etc.) and maintain a simple "best practices" guide.
- Plan and schedule monthly social media content, aligning posts with overall marketing priorities and campaigns.
- Create content for relevant holidays and observances (e.g., National Nurses Week, EMS Week) with a clearly defined audience and purpose.
- Curate and repurpose blogs, customer stories, product education, and tradeshow content into platform-specific posts.
- Perform monthly social media audits and recommend improvements (performance review, content mix, competitive scan).
SEO Blog Content & Campaigns
You'll turn complex clinical and operational topics into SEO-friendly stories that attract the right audiences and fuel our campaigns.
- Research, outline, write, and optimize SEO-focused blog posts for the Ring Rescue website.
- Define the audience and objective for each post (e.g., educate, support budget justification, differentiate from hardware tools).
- Conduct basic keyword research and implement SEO best practices (structure, headings, links, meta descriptions).
- Build supporting social campaigns for each blog (short videos, quotes, carousels, polls) with clear audience and goals.
Lead Nurture & Email Campaigns (HubSpot)
You'll help bring closed-lost leads back into the funnel by building thoughtful, segmented nurture journeys in HubSpot.
- Build segmented nurture journeys in HubSpot for closed-lost marketing leads.
- Create and manage workflows and lists by industry/setting (ED, surgical, ICU, fire rescue, EMS, urgent care, law enforcement) and ABM parameters (role in purchase, current ring removal solution).
- Draft email copy that educates on ring entrapment, promotes best practices, and provides valuable resources.
- Use HubSpot reporting (and basic web/social analytics) to track opens, clicks, and performance, and suggest tests (e.g., subject lines, CTAs)
Pre & Post-Trade Show Lead Management & HubSpot List Maintenance
You'll aid in the pre-show content and supply preparation and post-show lead organization for our trade shows.
- Assemble and ship for each trade shows, based on the audience and the needs established.
- Consolidate and clean trade show leads, deduplicate and upload them into HubSpot, and apply the right tags/segments and event source attribution.
- Oganize leads by distributor rep/territory for efficient routing to the sales team
- Maintain targeted HubSpot lists and basic CRM hygiene so segmentation and reporting stay reliable.
- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Business, or a related field (completed or in progress).
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable creating social media content (short-form video, graphics, carousels, captions).
- Basic understanding of social media best practices and an interest in trends.
- Willingness to learn SEO, Canva/Adobe-style tools, HubSpot (workflows, lists, reporting), and basic analytics (social + Google Analytics or equivalent).
- Organized, proactive, and able to manage a content calendar and deadlines.
- Comfortable working with clinical/technical subject matter and asking questions.
