Newfoundland and Labrador Territory Manager

As a result of the continued growth in our client base, we are increasing our staff compliment in Newfoundland & Labrador and are currently searching for a:

Newfoundland and Labrador Territory Manager

Reporting to the general manager, the successful candidate will be expected to utilize their above average communication skills to maintain a strong relationship with our clients. You will be a vital link for our clients and your duties and responsibilities will include the following:

• Maintain current client relationships
• Seek out prospective customers/business opportunities with new and existing customers
• Maintain regular attendance at applicable associations and trade shows
• Follow-up on all customer quotations and provide feedback as required
• Report competitive conditions and feedback from customers
• Maintain ethical, cooperative relationships consistent with the company brand and objectives in the marketplace
• Cooperate with principle suppliers to secure mutual business through joint sales calls
• Attend product training courses and seminars to develop superior product knowledge
• Conduct product presentations and seminars
• Develop an effective and productive working relationship with inside sales to ensure products are properly quoted and received in a timely manner
• Insure customers receive current product literature, line cards and brochures
• Provide feedback and information on current and upcoming projects
• Maintain the monthly, quarterly and yearly sales forecasts and business plans
• Routinely maintain communication with management regarding any customer issues and conflicts
• Perform other duties as instructed or required for successful sales grow.

As the ideal candidate:

• Preference will be given to an engineering graduate or certified technical graduate
• Knowledge and experience with mechanical and electrical systems
• Exhibits excellent time management and organizational skills
• Have exceptional work ethic
• Possess good communication skills
• Have the ability to work independently
• Think analytically and have an aptitude for both electrical and mechanical systems
• Exhibit excellent attention to detail
