Job Title: Service Administrator
Location : Kingston, Ontario
Shift/Hours : Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (1 hour lunch break)
Pay Rate : $21.00/ hr - $22.00/ hr (based upon experience)
Position Overview
The Service Administrator provides administrative and coordination support to the Technical Services team. This role is responsible for dispatching service calls, supporting technicians, processing documentation, and ensuring daily service activities are completed accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispatch service calls to technicians and follow up with customers as required.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders and enter information into internal systems.
- Order parts and equipment and track deliveries.
- Prepare quotes for service repairs and assist with tender closings.
- Process service billing using internal software and review invoices and credits with management.
- Audit and process field payroll to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain organized service records and documentation.
Requirements
- Post-secondary diploma in administration or a related field.
- Previous experience in an administrative , service coordination, or dispatch role.
- Strong computer skills and comfort working with internal systems.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Construction, mechanical, or service industry experience considered an asset.
Work Conditions
Office-based role supporting a technical service team. Regular interaction with technicians, customers, and internal staff.
