Summer Eligibility Clause:
Please note: This posting is for a 4-month Student Summer 2026 placement with a start date of May 2026 and end-date of August 2026.
In order to be eligible for this 4-month Student position, you must either:
Be returning back to school after the work term end-date of August 2026; or
If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in April/August 2026), but you require the work term as a mandatory component to in order to graduate successfully.

What is the opportunity?
As a member of the Operations team, you will help deliver key strategic projects (including information/content and transactional) across RBC Lease Operations. The Operations coordinator contract position will work closely with the Operational Managers and RBC partners and business/product leads to manage improvements, maintenance and identifying optimization opportunities across the end-to-end Operational Lease structure.
What will you do?
Support the Operations Managers by executing various integrated tactics in alignment with stakeholder and business objectives
Assist in project management of operational development and maintenance projects, including stakeholder/legal approval, translation and working with internal partners to request and manage project content (i.e. GRM/IRM)
Ensure all tasks are accurate and comply with all RBC regulatory standards, policy and requirements (including CREL)
Assist with generate analytics reporting for key stakeholders
Act as a partner to and liaise with internal business partners
Ensure that project deliverables are of high quality and any development adheres to the standards of RBC
Manage maintenance process to ensure all requests are responded to in a timely manner
What do you need to succeed?
Must have:
Currently enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution with a focus in finance, business and/or analytics
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong MS Office skills – Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
A strong desire to learn while moving projects forward
Nice to have:
Experience with digital best practices
Experience within the financial industry would be an asset
