Please note: This posting is for a 4-month Student Summer 2026 placement with a start date of May 2026 and end-date of August 2026.

In order to be eligible for this 4-month Student position, you must either:

  • Be returning back to school after the work term end-date of August 2026; or

  • If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in April/August 2026), but you require the work term as a mandatory component to in order to graduate successfully.

What is the opportunity?

As a member of the Operations team, you will help deliver key strategic projects (including information/content and transactional) across RBC Lease Operations. The Operations coordinator contract position will work closely with the Operational Managers and RBC partners and business/product leads to manage improvements, maintenance and identifying optimization opportunities across the end-to-end Operational Lease structure.

What will you do?

  • Support the Operations Managers by executing various integrated tactics in alignment with stakeholder and business objectives

  • Assist in project management of operational development and maintenance projects, including stakeholder/legal approval, translation and working with internal partners to request and manage project content (i.e. GRM/IRM)

  • Ensure all tasks are accurate and comply with all RBC regulatory standards, policy and requirements (including CREL)

  • Assist with generate analytics reporting for key stakeholders

  • Act as a partner to and liaise with internal business partners

  • Ensure that project deliverables are of high quality and any development adheres to the standards of RBC

  • Manage maintenance process to ensure all requests are responded to in a timely manner

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

  • Currently enrolled in a Canadian post-secondary institution with a focus in finance, business and/or analytics

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong MS Office skills – Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint

  • A strong desire to learn while moving projects forward

Nice to have:

  • Experience with digital best practices

  • Experience within the financial industry would be an asset
