We are searching for a Van Driver to join our Parkland at Home team based in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

About the Opportunity
- Operate the Nova Scotia Food Van from Halifax to Halifax
- Loads truck with distribution carts for the satellite sites in an efficient manner according to the approved schedule
- Porters carts from trucks to Satellite Site receiver kitchen walk-in refrigerator and stores in an orderly manner
- Documents and cross checks each load to ensure that all destination serveries are accounted for
- Maintains van in peak operating condition and carries out all prescribed routine maintenance functions.
- Maintains van and receiving area at central site in a clean, tidy and sanitary condition
About You
In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability, you bring:
- A high-school diploma or equivalent education
- Previous experience in transporting fragile and perishable goods considered a strong asset
- A clean driving record with a Class 5 Driver's license
- Ability to provide a clear Driver's abstract
- Ability to provide a clear criminal record check upon hire
- A passion for the healthcare sector and ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services and care
