Job Title: DZ Driver - Recycling and Garbage Truck Driver/Loader

Job Type: Temporary ongoing

Location: Napanee, ON
Shift: Monday-Friday
Wage: $27.00/hr

This role will involve operating waste and recycling vehicles and completing waste collection routes. This position requires a DZ license and is ideal for someone who is reliable, punctual, and comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities:

• Operate waste and recycling vehicles (including rear pack and manual side loader trucks).
• Collect and load curbside materials safely and efficiently.
• Complete routes on schedule while following safe driving and work practices.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and fill out required reports.
• Deliver professional and courteous service to residents and businesses.

Qualifications:

• A valid DZ license in Ontario.
• Drivers Abstract and CVOR (dated within 30 days).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Able to pass a background check (includes drug screen, MTO medical, criminal check, and employment verification).
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.

Work Conditions:

• This role involves both driving and physical labour. Work may take place on highways, local roads, warehouse facilities, and customer delivery sites.
