Customer Service Representative

Job Title: Customer Service - Warehouse

Job Type: Temporary ongoing

Location: Kingston, ON

Shift/Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

Pay Rate: $20.00/hr

This role is responsible for various duties including supporting warehouse operations and acting as the primary point of contact for branches, couriers, and internal departments on behalf of the warehouse.

Responsibilities:

• Obtain orders, sort and distribute them based on service commitment, area of picking, and special requirements on the order. Ensure that special instructions are communicated to the team.
• Resolve issues with branches/procurement team when the warehouse is unable to meet the requirements outlined by the order.
• Arrange pickup of return goods and book inbound receiving appointments.
• Post in the system as required and file documents for all completed shipments.
• Monitor incoming email and phone communication and ensure that all inquiries and requests are responded to in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role.
• Excel and AS400 experience, with a great memory for codes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of customer service skills.
• Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Must have strong knowledge of MS Office, including Excel and Word.
• Personal transportation to the work location will be seen as an asset.
