Job Title: Machine Operator - Manufacturing Support
Location: Scarborough, ON (near Kennedy Rd & Finch Ave)
Shift/Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM | Friday, 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour

This position supports production activities at a metal fabrication facility in Scarborough. The role involves operating equipment, handling materials, assisting with paint preparation, and supporting custom fabrication tasks in a fast-paced shop environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Operate machinery and metalworking presses
• Assist in the spray booth with preparation and spray application
• Support general production and shop floor tasks as needed
• Help manage material flow and inventory organization
• Conduct paint prep and finishing tasks
• Perform regular heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs )
• Keep the work area clean and hazard-free

Requirements
• Previous experience in a shop or manufacturing role
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Willingness to learn multiple aspects of custom metal fabrication

Work Conditions
Work is performed in a custom sheet metal facility with exposure to production equipment and materials. Proper PPE must be worn. This role requires standing, lifting, and manual handling throughout the shift.
