We are searching for an Academic Program and Partnership Assistant to join our Human Resources team based in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

About the Opportunity
- Maintains student placement tracking and participant trackers of programs (ie. LPN, CCA, PLAR) led by Shannex.
- Responds to inquiries from students/participants
- Maintains trusted partnership with universities, colleges & partners
- Assists with the administration of the student placement software called HSPnet and acts as back up for Academic Program and Partnership Coordinator
- Assists with administrative functions
- Maintains accurate records for each participant
- Provides reports to operational leaders monthly
- Alerts Academic Program and Partnership Coordinator if students are not processing as expected
- In collaboration with Academic Program and Partnership Coordinator, follows up with employees who are not on track
- Provides administrative support for any government initiatives – such as exam challenges, accelerated PLAR
About You
In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability, you bring:
- High school diploma/GED
- Administrative Professional diploma
- 3- 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience with student placement tracking software
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong organization skills, high attention to detail and demonstrated initiative
- Strong interpersonal skills
