THE POSITION

We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Commercial Associate to join our Commercial team. This role supports the delivery of specialized banking services to our business members. The Commercial Associate will assist the Commercial Account Managers with account setup, administrative tasks, and sales support for non-lending and basic lending functions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Open new commercial accounts and assist with business banking service setup
• Provide high-quality service to business members by responding to inquiries and processing transactions
• Promote OMISTA products and services and identify opportunities to refer business to the Commercial Account Managers
• Support AML, KYC, and member due diligence requirements for business accounts and transactions
• Support the setup and maintenance of Payment Stream (AFT), credit cards, and online banking services for commercial clients
• Train business members and internal teams on commercial tools and platforms
• Ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with policies and procedures
• Assist and provide back-up to the Commercial Associate - Lending for loan documentation and file completion
• Support periodic audits and internal reviews as required
• Participate in sales initiatives and branch service goals
• Perform administrative and project support duties within the Commercial Department

This role offers exposure to Commercial Banking operations, lending and relationship management, with opportunities to build strong foundational skills and grow within the Commercial Banking team.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn credit union system

EDUCATION AND TRAINING

• Certificate and/or diploma in Financial Services or Business Administration
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in financial services

JOB SUMMARY

• Pay Type: Salaried, Personal Bonus, Team Bonus
• Salary Range: $44,500-$52,400
