Lounsbury Chevrolet in Bathurst is looking for a Service Manager. You will be a key leader in the dealership, responsible for the overall production and efficiency of the service department.

- Supervise and lead employees in the Service department, including Technicians, Service Advisors, Warranty Administrators, and Service Cashiers
- Address customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and professional manner
- Maintain and promote a safe work environment
- Maintain relationships with suppliers
- Ensure compliance with company standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and complete and on-time delivery
- Manage quality assurance - setting quality standards, maintaining high quality of all garage activities
- Responsible for recruitment, adherence to company policies, and performance management
- Analyze and report on the department's daily, monthly, and annual key performance indicators and industry trends
- Review and use the monthly Profit and Loss statements to ensure expense control and proactively plan service and sales goals
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in a mechanical/technical field preferred
- 5 or more years of previous management experience in a technical environment
- Effective leadership skills, with a strong focus on operations and business processes
- A clear and solid understanding of personnel policies, practices, procedures, and other operational issues faced by the organization
