We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Plant Cleaner to join our team in a busy manufacturing facility. The Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment to support daily operations.
- Clean and sanitize common areas, production spaces, offices, and washrooms.
- Sweep, and mop floors throughout the facility.
- Remove garbage, recycling, and other waste materials following company guidelines.
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and other items as required.
- Clean touch-point areas including door handles, and railings.
- Maintain cleanliness of lunchrooms, and washrooms.
- Notify supervision of any safety concerns, maintenance needs, or supply shortages.
- Follow all safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals and equipment properly.
- Assist with general housekeeping tasks to support a clean and safe manufacturing environment.
- Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift cleaning supplies and equipment up and down stairs, as well as perform physical tasks such as bending, standing, and walking for entirety of shift.
- Reliability and good attendance are essential.
