We are currently looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in Belledune, New Brunswick. This role reports directly to the Maintenance Manager and is responsible for leading daily maintenance activities, while ensuring safe, reliable, and timely response to equipment breakdowns in our around-the-clock facility.
As an integral part of our Belledune Team, you will:
- Supervise, lead, and support the maintenance team
- Plan, prioritize, and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize production downtime.
- Ensure all equipment is maintained in safe working order and in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues as needed.
- Oversee the preventive maintenance program, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Collaborate closely with production, safety, and quality teams to resolve equipment issues and support operational goals.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and equipment history.
- Assist in planning and execution of capital projects and equipment installations.
- Support training and development of maintenance staff.
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
- 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment; supervisory or lead hand experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of industrial mechanical and electrical systems.
- Experience in troubleshooting production equipment in a high-speed or continuous-operation environment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments
- Ability to work assigned shift and flexibility for off shift support as required.
- Strong attention to detail and proactive approach to problem-solving
