Definition of Work: The primary function is to provide lead direction and technical supervision to the staff by planning and coordinating the daily operation of the clinic. The duties require the application of independent judgement and the interpretation and adherence of policies and procedures, EMR platform, and collaboration in a team environment. The individual will function with considerable independence while completing work assignments but within established policies and procedures. This position will be required to support an open walk-in clinic and may be required to report to an alternate site in the Health Neighbourhood area. Cross coverage support may also be required at other Primary Health Care sites within the assigned Health Neighbourhood.

Qualifications: Successful completion a two-year Office Administration program from a recognized post-secondary institution which has provided training in typing, office practice, and computer applications is required. A typing speed of 40 words per minute and medical terminology is also required. Applicants must have computer training and demonstrate proficiency in word processing and spread sheeting. The incumbent will be proficient in written and oral communication and possess excellent interpersonal/organizational skills. Applicants will be tested regarding their knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet.
