What is the opportunity?

Join HR Business and Performance Management team for an 8-month student program for the position of Business Management Coordinator starting in the summer. HR Business and Performance Management team handles many aspects of business management and premise planning is one of them. You will take part in a transformation project to support the successful relocation of over 200 HR-BMCC employees to their new office space, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal disruption to business operations.

What will you do?

· Planning and Coordination:

o Assist in developing and maintaining a detailed relocation timeline and checklist.

o Coordinate with internal teams (HR-BMCC, CRE, IT) and external vendors (CBRE, movers, contractors) to ensure alignment.

o Provide tailored support for executive moves, including communications to senior stakeholders

o Help organize pre-move meetings and communicate updates to stakeholders.

· Logistics Management:

o Track inventory of office equipment, furniture, and supplies.

o Assist in assigning new seating arrangements and workspace configurations.

o Coordinate the packing, labeling, and transportation of items.

o Plan engagement focused events for new office, including catering and other event logistics

· Communication:

o Draft and distribute relocation-related communications to employees.

o Create and manage internal communications, including intranet sites (RBC Connect) and FAQ documents to address common questions.

o Provide on-site support during the move, acting as a point of contact for employees.

· Post-Move Support:

o Assist in resolving any issues or discrepancies post-relocation.

o Help ensure all systems (IT, phone, etc.) are functioning properly in the new space.

o Gather feedback from employees to identify areas for improvement.

What do you need to succeed?

· Working towards a Bachelor's or Masters degree from an accredited University

· Strong organizational and project management skills

· Excellent oral and written interpersonal skills

· The ability to work independently as well as be able to collaborate and work effectively in teams with internal departments and build partnerships with stakeholders

· Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines

· Proficiency and comfort using Microsoft Office suite of tools (Powerpoint, Excel)

Please note: This posting is for a 8-months Summer 2026 Student placement with a start date of May 2026, and end date of December 2026. In order to be eligible for this 8-months Student position, you must either:

  • Be returning back to school after the work term end-date of December 2026 ; or
  • If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in December 2026), you must require the full 8-months work term as a mandatory component to in order to graduate successfully.
