Master - NTL Tugs

CANSHIP UGLAND LTD.

We are a Ship Management and crewing company operating and managing DP shuttle tankers, harbour tugs, bulk carrier, cargo vessel, oceangoing tug and barge, pilot boats, Ro-Ro passenger ferry and product tanker. In addition, we provide crew management services to other vessel owners and operators. We offer excellent compensation, pension plans, full benefits and a day for day leave system.

Master - NTL Tugs

At present we are recruiting for Master for the NTL Tugs, operating in Placentia Bay, Newfoundland.

Qualifications:

• Applicants for this position should hold the following Valid Canadian Certification.
• Master 3000 NC
• STCW Basic Safety Certificate
• Seafarers Medical
• GOC (GMDSS)
• Marine Advanced First Aid
• Confined Space Entry
• Pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Test
• Criminal Record Check

Experience:

• Strong Ship Maneuvering Skills
• Operate in a cost-effective manner according to regulations, codes and guidelines. Company and Owners' instructions (including the NTL Tug Operations & Escort Plan)
• Experience with Voith Schneider Propulsion System (considered an asset)

Training Will Be Provided

Compensation:

• Annual Salary $132,915.29 + $4,733.97 Handover Pay + Match up 8% RRSP + Annual Seniority Bonus

Rotation: 2 Weeks On - 2 Weeks Off
