What will you be doing?
Working with a dynamic team of professionals, you will be responsible for the planning, execution, and finalization of projects of varying degrees of complexity and strategic importance to the organization and its clients. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Defining scope, outcomes & measures, work packages, requirements, and deliverables at project and program levels.
- Developing resource management plans, identifying and acquiring required resources, delegating tasks and responsibilities and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors.
- Directing and managing projects and programs to deliver desired outcomes and benefits.
- Developing full-scale program roadmaps, project plans, value maps and effectively communicating project expectations.
- Liaising with project stakeholders, including senior leadership, to understand, set and manage expectations.
- Developing and growing business relationships vital to the success of projects.
- Drafting and submitting budget proposals and recommending budget changes.
- Coaching, mentoring, motivating and supervising team members and contractors
- Leading teams in the use of SCRUM/Agile methodologies
- Tracking project timelines, outcomes, milestones, and deliverables
- Delivering status reports, analyzing results, and troubleshooting problem areas.
- Managing changes in scope, budget, schedule, identifying potential risks and devising contingency plans.
- Fostering the professional growth of colleagues through mentoring and coaching.
- Monitoring and managing risks, issues and interdependencies between projects in a program

What do you need to be successful?
The successful candidate must possess a university degree in a relevant discipline and a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in project management or related work experience.
Subject to the response to this competition, an equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
Some positions require written and spoken competence in French and English. Others will require written and spoken competence in English only. Please state your language capability.
What qualifications can set you apart from other candidates?
ASSET QUALIFICATIONS: Preference may be given to candidates who demonstrate they have training or experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Certification from a recognized Project Management Association, such as PMI's Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) or PRINCE2's Practitioner.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (such as Scrumworks, Jira, TFS, Azure DevOps)
- Experience with Salesforce Health Cloud and other cloud technologies and digital platforms.
- Experience managing IT projects across multiple organizations or functional areas with both traditional and adaptive approaches in a high-pressure environment.
- Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- Experience leading programs and projects in a government setting.
- Experience presenting to and facilitating varying group sizes and senior level management.

Salary: $93,210 - $112,788 annually – Pay Band 7 - Management and Non-Union Pay Plan
