Reporting to the Business Performance Manager, you will play a key role in delivering complex and strategic projects within the Individual Life Insurance and Investment & Retirement business lines. You will be involved from the earliest stages of initiatives to understand business needs, define and document requirements, and ensure solutions align with corporate objectives.
You will work within complex technological ecosystems and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to deliver high-quality, strategically aligned solutions. In addition to your analytical responsibilities, you will act as a mentor to business analysts, supporting their development and promoting best practices.

- Mentor business analysts and foster best practices
- Proven ability to lead the analysis and documentation of business requirements for complex projects, including digital transformation and system integration initiatives.
- Strong skills in translating complex business needs into clear, actionable functional and non-functional specifications, ensuring traceability and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Experience collaborating with technical teams, developers, and QA specialists to design solutions, validate deliverables, and maintain quality standards.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills to engage stakeholders, lead workshops, and drive process improvements across business and technology teams.
- Demonstrated leadership and mentorship capabilities, supporting team development and promoting best practices while contributing to change management initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, IT, or related field, and 8+ years of business analysis experience on complex projects (insurance or financial services is an asset).
- Expertise in gathering and documenting requirements, creating clear specifications, and applying Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills; bilingual (French and English) preferred.
- Proficiency with MS Office and project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project); knowledge of insurance systems is an asset.
- Professional certifications (CBAP, PMI-PBA, Prosci) are an advantage.
