ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES OFFICER

The Department of Health is seeking an individual to join the Financial Services Branch as an Administrative Services Officer, in Fredericton.
As an Administrative Services Officer you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring accuracy and validity of invoices received from Regional Health Authorities (RHA's), nursing homes and physicians;
- Preparing and entering invoices for payment;
- Liaising with employees of the department, the RHA's and physicians regarding payments;
- Reconciliations and balancing bi-weekly pay runs, and preparing journal entries;
- Setting up physician's accounts for payment;
- Reaching out to RHAs or physicians for clarification when needed, either by phone or Microsoft Teams;
- Working with departmental employees on various projects or requests that relate to the payment of salaried and sessional physicians.

Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma, supplemented by a one (1) year post-secondary program in Accounting, Office Administration, or in a related field.
- Five (5) years of related work experience.
- An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
- Written and spoken competence in French and English is required. Please state your language capability on your application.

Asset Qualifications:
Preference may be given to candidates that possess one or more of the following asset qualifications:
- Experience working with Oracle Financials and Imaging and Process Management (IPM)
- Coursework and/or experience in accounting
- Experience in accounts payable processing
Candidates may be required to demonstrate on their application one or more of the asset qualifications, in addition to the essential qualifications, in order to be given further consideration.

Salary: $1,816 to $2,205 bi-weekly (ASL 4)
