Your Role
As part of AL's Project Management Office (PMO), you'll lead complex projects that range from digital product launches and application development to systems integration and business process improvements. You'll manage cross-functional teams, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.
What You'll Do
- Lead multiple complex projects using Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies.
- Collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and vendors to define and deliver solutions.
- Oversee project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk management strategies.
- Drive effective communication and stakeholder engagement across all levels.
- Support Agile delivery by partnering with Agile Delivery Managers and Scrum Masters to align project objectives with Agile practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes and standards.
Salary Band: $94,000 - $152,750 - A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role is $95,000 - $115,000 at the time of this posting. (Individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, market conditions, relevant experience, education, training and internal equity).
Work Location: Hybrid from either our Moncton, NB or Halifax, NS offices.
- Probation: Full-time in-office (Moncton preferred).
- Post-Probation: Option to remain in-office or work hybrid (2-3 days/week in office).
Education & Experience:
- University degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum 7 years of IT project management experience in software development, systems integration, or digital platforms.
- Must reside in Atlantic Canada
Technical Expertise:
- Strong understanding of SDLC, APIs, cloud technologies, and integration.
- Ability to engage with developers and translate technical requirements into actionable plans.
Methodologies & Tools:
- Experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban), Waterfall and Hybrid methodologies.
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, and Project Portfolio Management systems.
Professional Skills:
- Excellent relationship building, communication, leadership, and stakeholder management.
- Strong problem-solving and risk management capabilities.
Assets:
- PMP certification (required or in progress).
- Agile certifications (CSM, PMI-ACP).
- Experience with change management frameworks such as Prosci or ADKAR
- Experience in gaming or digital product development.
