The Opportunity

Assante Hydrostone is seeking a dedicated Financial Advisor to join our team in Halifax's historic Hydrostone district. We are looking for a professional who has built a strong foundation (5+ years) and is now looking to advance their career in a full-service wealth management firm. This is an ideal role for an advisor who is ready to offer comprehensive, unbiased financial planning and investment strategies. Responsibilities

• Oversee client portfolios using a wide range of investment solutions, including individual securities, ETFs, and alternative investments.
• Provide detailed financial planning support, working with clients on retirement, tax, and estate strategies.
• Deepen relationships with existing clients through regular reviews and proactive communication.
• Collaborate with senior partners to service complex High Net Worth accounts, gaining mentorship and experience in advanced wealth management.
• Contribute to the growth of the firm by welcoming new clients and maintaining high retention rates.

Qualifications & Skills

• Industry Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Financial Advisor.
• Licensing: IIROC/CIRO licensed (Registered Representative) or willing to transfer immediately (must have CSC and CPH completed).
• Education: Post-secondary education with a focus on business or finance.
• Professionalism: A strong commitment to client service and ethical standards.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Assets

• Completion of or enrollment in the CFP® (Certified Financial Planner) program.
• CIM® (Chartered Investment Manager) designation.
• Experience with tax-efficient investing (Corporate Class).
