The Partnership is seeking a Director, Finance & Corporate Services to lead the development and implementation of policies and procedures for financial management, human resources, Board support, and information technology. This role ensures operational excellence and compliance across all organizational functions.

Responsibilities

Financial management

  • Oversees financial reporting, budgeting, and monitoring of funds, including private sector and grant integration.
  • Prepares and submits agendas, briefings, and reports to the President and CEO for inclusion in the Audit and Risk Committee package.
  • Advises on financial policies, ensures compliance, and manages insurance coverage.
  • Manages cash flow, line of credit, and investments, ensuring maximum return on investment.
  • Manages, prepares, and monitors budgets and financial reporting for all sources of funds, including external grants, and integrates grant monies into the association's operations to achieve maximum outcomes and leverage.
  • Provides project management support as required.

Human Resources

  • Onboards/offboards employees.
  • Manages and reviews employee policies.
  • Ensures confidential records management of personnel information.
  • Provides advice and direction on human resource issues.
  • Advises on staff professional development plans.

Information Technology

  • Manages maintenance of IT platforms and services with an external provider.
  • Identifies, researches, and recommends changes to the IT and CRM Systems to maximize effectiveness.
  • Identifies, researches, and recommends policies and the implementation of AI in our operations.
Qualifications

Education

  • Chartered Professional Accountant

Experience

  • Several years of supervisory experience, specifically in the areas of financial reporting and planning.
  • 5-7 years of proven Executive and Administrative experience.

Skills

  • Thorough knowledge of financial and human resource management best practices.
  • Extensive experience in human resource management policies and practices.
  • Proven high-level presentation and communication skills, both verbally and in writing, including the ability to translate financial and accounting concepts for a lay and diverse range of personnel.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work both independently and cooperatively as part of a team to meet organizational objectives.
  • Knowledge and understanding of businesses in the community.
  • Analyze and effectively resolve problems with minimal direction.
  • Superior attention to detail.
