Port Saint John is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Systems Analyst to join our IT team. This role is critical in maintaining, securing, and optimizing our IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations and supporting business objectives.

Systems Analysis, Design, and Implementation
• Assess existing systems and processes; identify areas for improvement.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for new or upgraded systems.
• Develop system architecture diagrams, workflows, and documentation.
• Act as technical expert in system implementations, business process improvement, and digital transformation initiatives.
Application & ERP Support
• Maintain and support key PSJ systems and applications.
• Configure, test, and implement system enhancements and integrations.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams for upgrades and troubleshooting.
Cybersecurity & Compliance
• Implement security measures to protect systems and data.
• Monitor system performance and apply patches and updates as required.
User Support & Training
• Provide technical support to end-users and conduct training sessions.
• Create user manuals and system documentation.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support for escalated technical issues.
IT Infrastructure
• Oversee IT infrastructure projects and maintenance
• Ensure managed service provider is fulfilling contractual obligations and meeting SLA's
• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
• 2-5 years of experience as a Systems Analyst or in a similar role
• Strong understanding of system design, data flows, and business processes
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure
• Experience with enterprise applications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities
