Class 5 driver

Job Title: Class 05 Driver/Courier Driver
Location: St. John's, NL
Available Shift: Monday-Friday; 9:00am to 5:00pm
Rate of Pay: $18 hourly

Advantage Personnel is currently seeking a highly motivated, outgoing individual to join our client's team as a Class 05 Driver/Courier Driver. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out all deliveries in the St. John's metro area. Responsibilities:
• Delivering an array of items to customers in company van(or box truck)
• Following routes and time schedules
• Loading and unloading, preparing, inspecting and operating the delivery in a safe manner
• Lifting loads 50-60lbs
• Using an application to assist with deliveries

Candidate Qualifications:
• Drivers Abstract (Must be within the last 30 days)
• This role requires the submission of a Criminal Record Search
• Strong Knowledge of electronics - use of scanner for position
• Strong knowledge of the city and surrounding areas
• Minimum of 9 years as licensed driver in Canada
