Procurement & RFQ Specialist

About the Role
This position plays a key part in supporting both our operations and business development teams. You'll be responsible for sourcing, pricing, and nurturing connections with new and existing customers. Your work helps us stay competitive, responsive, and ready to grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage RFQs (Request for Quotes) from start to finish
• Source competitive pricing and negotiate with carriers and vendors
• Reach out to companies to promote our services and generate new business
• Support existing accounts with timely quotes and follow-up
• Maintain accurate records, pricing tables, and communication logs
• Collaborate with operations and sales teams to ensure smooth execution

What We're Looking For

• Experience in a sales role with transportation, logistics, or freight brokerage is required
• Strong communication skills (email, phone, and customer interaction)
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable with outreach, quoting, and building business relationships
• Proficient with MS Office; experience with TMS systems is a bonus
