A variety of shifts but not limited to 0830-1630, 1200-2000, 1300-2100, 1400-2200 Hours; Monday to Sunday as required.
Salary:
NP35 (CAD52.31 - CAD64.92 per hour)
The following Incentives may be applicable and can be combined:
- Signing bonus up to $10,000 (up to $14,000 if facility is located off the TCH ? Rural Sites)
- Come Home Incentive up to $60,000
- Health Professional Bursary (student) up to $10,000

About the Role:
This position will operate out of a specific Medical Clinic or designated Hub site; the incumbent will be providing primary care clinical coverage to assigned rural medical clinics throughout the health neighborhood. The Nurse Practitioner is part of an interdisciplinary team responsible for Primary Health Care services based on the needs of the population in the assigned health neighborhood.
Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- In-person visits
- Virtual care
- Visits in patients? homes including within personal care homes.
Job Qualifications:
- Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Newfoundland and Labrador and current Nurse Practitioner License is required.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships is essential.
- Experience working independently with limited supervision and a willingness to travel are also required.
- Satisfactory record of work performance and/or attendance
- In the event no suitable candidate is found with the above noted qualifications, consideration may be given to applicants who do not currently possess a Nurse Practitioner License, but are qualified to enroll in an approved Master in Nursing/Nurse Practitioner (MN/NP) program. In this case, the successful applicant must be prepared to demonstrate proof of registration/enrollment upon appointment and provide updates based on the progress of each semester of the program.
