Position: Summer Student - Jr. Financial Analyst
Location: Moncton, NB in office
Work Term: Typically 16 weeks, starting in May 2026

The Junior Financial Analyst will support the Finance team by assisting with the submission of purchase requisitions, financial analysis, reporting, and data validation. This role is designed to provide exposure to corporate accounting processes and analytical tools, while contributing to accurate and timely financial information for decision-making.
Here's What You'll Do:
- Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports.
- Assist in performing variance analysis between actuals, projection, and budgets.
- Support data integrity checks and reconciliations in financial systems.
- Compile and organize financial data for internal presentations.
- Working with the business units and submitting purchase requisitions
- Management of Purchase Orders
- Assist with ad-hoc analysis and projects as requested by the Finance team.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in handling financial information.
- Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with others
- Ability to work independently
- Proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organization skills and the ability to multi-task
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and complete high-quality work in a timely manner
Education and Requirements:
- Currently studying a post-secondary program in Accounting or Finance.
- Must be 19 years of age or older by start date.
- Must reside in Atlantic Canada.
