JOB TYPE: Temporary part-time
SCHEDULE: Day, Evening, Weekend, Rotation, 8 and 12-hour shifts. Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS: French essential and spoken English
JOB SUMMARY:
The successful candidate belongs to a dynamic and essential team. This person contributes to providing high-quality, healthy and nutritious meals to Vitalité Health Network's clients. Under the supervision of the manager or their delegate, this person works accurately under pressure within a fast-paced working environment. The successful candidate is organized. They communicate well and clearly. They have leadership skills and work equally well on a team and independently. Their main duties are to perform food preparatory work and short order cooking in accordance with the Network's standards, policies and procedures as well as the provincial laws. Without being limited to this, the list of tasks and responsibilities of the position is available in the job description from the department and/or in the Pre cook (2003) Provincial Classification Specifications.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school graduation or G.E.D.;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Physical ability to perform the assigned work;
- Good work history (performance and attendance);
- Adherence to professional ethical principles, the Network's management philosophy, and organizational values;
- Compliance with the rules of confidentiality set by Vitalité Health Network.
