Key Responsibilities:

Data Management: Manage and oversee the lifecycle of legal data, including data collection, storage, processing, and dissemination, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Data Strategy: Collaborate with legal professionals and other key stakeholders to design and execute a data strategy that supports the department's goals and aligns with the bank's overall data management objectives.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, Control Partners, and Operations, to ensure seamless integration of data management practices within the bank's broader infrastructure.
Innovation: Drive innovation by identifying and implementing new data management technologies and methodologies that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Legal department's operations.
Business Application and Data Management Support: Provide support and best practice to legal professionals on business application and data management processes, fostering a data-driven culture within the department.
Risk Management: Monitor and manage data-related risks, ensuring that the Legal department adheres to all relevant data governance standards and regulatory requirements.

This role is an exceptional opportunity for data professionals to play a pivotal role in a non-traditional environment. The Legal department at TD Bank is at the cutting edge of integrating data-driven insights into legal and regulatory frameworks.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

  • Experience in project management, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
