We are now seeking a Circuit Board Draftsperson to join our team, on a contract basis.

The responsibilities of the role include:

· PWB Layout & Routing;

· Creation of all PWB related documentation for prototyping, manufacture and assembly;

· Creation and maintenance of non PWB related documentation used elsewhere in the organization such as family trees, block diagrams, rack schematics and other customer required diagrams.

Qualifications

Qualifications and skills desired:

  • A working knowledge of Altium (PCB Design Tool);
  • High School and two-year electronics technologist course (TechNova) and/or equivalent PWB design experience;
  • A working knowledge of industry and company practices;
  • Ability to work well within a team, as well as independently;
  • Proven problem solving skills;
  • Communication skills;
  • Basic electrical course (NSIT), CAD Drafting course (NSCC) would be assets.
Work With Us

The ability to immediately obtain Controlled Goods Clearance is a requirement of this role (Canadian PR or Citizenship), as well as additional background checks.
