Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly organized and proactive individual to support our operations Manager in a dual role: Administrative Assistant and Health & Safety Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction industry, strong QuickBooks skills, and hands-on understanding of Health & Safety requirements, especially in relation to maintaining our COR Certification.
This position is key to ensuring smooth office operations while helping uphold our safety standards and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Duties:

  • Provide daily administrative support to the Operations Manager
  • Data Entry into QuickBooks
  • General office duties as required

Health & Safety Coordinator Duties:

  • Assist in the maintenance and ongoing compliance of our COR Certification
  • Update, track, and organize all Health & Safety documentation
  • Maintain and work with the operations manager regarding Health and Safety
  • Monitor and record employee training, certifications, - (subcontractors as well)
  • Assist with audits, internal reviews, and preparation for COR external audits
  • Help ensure all construction sites remain compliant with safety standards and regulations

Qualifications:

  • Previous administrative experience
  • Experience in the construction industry (preferred)
  • QuickBooks proficiency
  • Experience or strong knowledge in Health & Safety coordination
  • Familiarity with COR Certification requirements is a strong asset
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information
  • Clear communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
