We are excited to partner with Tandem Family Law looking to bring a strong accounting professional to their team in Moncton!
Responsibilities will include:
- Record daily financial transactions (purchases, sales, receipts, payments) and maintain the general ledger.
- Process accounts payable and reconcile bank, credit card, and other financial accounts.
- Support payroll preparation and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Handle reimbursements and collect required credit-card documentation.
- Maintain accurate documentation for all financial transactions in line with internal policies.
- Support audit preparation and ongoing compliance needs.
- Identify process-improvement opportunities and maintain knowledge of current bookkeeping practices and software.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Post-secondary education in accounting or business administration.
- Previous experience in a bookkeeping or financial-processing role.
- Proficiency with accounting software and financial systems.
- Demonstrated problem-solving, organizational, and relationship-building abilities.
- A process-improvement mindset and commitment to professional integrity.
- Solid technical and analytical skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
- Reliability in meeting deadlines; consistent accuracy and efficiency.
- High attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work collaboratively and professionally.
