Job Description

What You'll Do?

  • Define AppSec Strategy – Own the AppSec roadmap for DevSecOps and Security Controls, prioritizing initiatives that deliver measurable value to development teams
  • Drive Product Excellence – Partner with next-gen technology product management to champion usability, quality, and technical debt reduction
  • Build Strategic Relationships – Engage with application development executives and vendors to align strategies and meet organizational needs
  • Lead AI Innovation – Drive AI adoption in the workplace and establish security guardrails for AI tools (Agents, MCP, code generation)
  • Deliver Results – Track KPIs, manage costs, ensure ROI, and reduce unit delivery costs
  • Innovate & Educate – Prototype new features, strengthen developer education, and enhance AppSec learning culture
  • Engage Communities – Foster adoption through meetups, steering groups, and user communities
  • Manage Releases – Own end-to-end release management including planning, documentation, and execution

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have:

  • 5+ years AppSec Engineering experience with tools like Github, JFrog Artifactory, Snyk, Aqua; Docker & Kubernetes expertise
  • Full-stack development (JavaScript, React, Node.js, Python or similar)
  • API delivery, Data Management, and/or Business Analytics experience
  • Agile Product Management in technology environments
  • Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
  • AI Agent Frameworks and Langchain experience
  • Understanding of AI-driven operational efficiency, CI/CD enhancement, and working with models/MCP servers
  • DevOps proficiency (Git, Artifactory, Docker/K8s)
  • Exceptional communication skills bridging technical and business audiences
  • Collaborative problem-solver with passion for user experience and data quality

Nice to have

  • Elastic (ELK) and Azure Databricks experience
  • RAG-based applications and agentic AI workflows; LLM/GenAI research background
